On November 5th, Alibaba’s subsidiary Gaode announced a global ecological cooperation with Xiaopeng Motors – Xiaopeng Robotaxi will officially be integrated into the Gaode platform to jointly provide users with L4 level autonomous driving travel services.
This is not only the industry’s first cooperation model of “travel platform+pre installed mass production Robotaxi”, but also an important step for Gaode’s comprehensive shift towards spatial intelligence and the cross-border opening of AI capabilities – committed to serving global customers with “technology+ecology” and creating the largest Robotaxi aggregation platform.
The cooperation between Gaode and Xiaopeng is not only a business upgrade, but also a key step for us to explore AGI based on common understanding. ”Gaode CEO Guo Ning stated that in the future, both parties will work together to go global and promote China’s leading Robotaxi service to the world stage.
Gaode Space Intelligence: The Spatiotemporal Decision Engine for Automobiles

It also maintained over ten years of joint research and development experience with Xiaopeng Motors, which is collaborating with Gaode in this project. Nowadays, relying on the underlying technology architecture of “spatial intelligence”, the above capabilities are achieving systematic innovation, providing Robotaxi with more accurate environmental perception, more efficient decision support, and smoother end-to-end travel experience.
The largest Robotaxi aggregation platform: open ecosystem, accelerating the commercialization of autonomous driving
Since pioneering the aggregated ride hailing model in 2017, Gaode has grown into the largest aggregated ride hailing platform in China, providing convenient and high-quality ride hailing information matching services for travel service enterprises and passengers. Its core advantages are not only traffic, but also cutting-edge technology and efficient and fair ecological mechanisms. Nowadays, these abilities are extending to the Robotaxi track. Except for Xiaopeng, top Robotaxi companies such as Wenyuan Zhixing and Xiaoma Zhixing have all joined Gaode.
