Meta announced today the launch of a fully functional WhatsApp Apple Watch app, which previously only supported notification functionality. The new application supports call notification display, complete message reading, voice message recording and sending, quick emoji response, clearer image sticker display, and more chat history viewing.
This application requires an Apple Watch Series 4 or later model, running watchOS 10 or higher, and maintaining end-to-end encryption to protect user privacy. Meta stated that more features will be added in future updates.
