Battlefield 6 Battle Royale map and Twitch drop rewards announced

Battlefield 6: Zone Clash will be released simultaneously with the first season in a free multiplayer mode, expanding the boundaries of the series. This mode introduces large-scale battle royale operations, modern warfare chaos, and a new giant map called “Lindenburg”. PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC players can now prepare to enter the battlefield.

Players who already own Battlefield 6 can easily access the Forbidden Zone Conflict Mode: After downloading the latest version 1.1.0 update, enter the game library and select to manually install specific components (including Forbidden Zone Conflict Mode, Single Player Campaign, and Standard Multiplayer Mode) under the Battlefield 6 entry. Players who have not purchased the main body can independently download the Forbidden Zone Conflict Mode for free across platforms. After the global preloading link is enabled, it will be updated in real-time.

The official confirmed that the newly exposed map of Lindenburg will become the main battlefield for the battlefield restricted zone conflict. This map is designed for large-scale combat and includes variable combat areas suitable for infantry, vehicles, and aerial combat. The specific dimensions have not been disclosed yet.

To celebrate the launch of the first season of Battlefield Zone Conflict, EA announced a Twitch drop event from 0:00 on October 29th to 3:59 pm on November 5th Beijing time. Players only need to watch the designated anchor’s live broadcast to unlock various appearance props. Participants need to first bind their EA and Twitch accounts, and then accumulate time to watch live broadcasts related to the conflict in the battlefield restricted area to receive rewards.

Watch for 1 hour: Get a “Hitchhiker” vehicle sticker

Watch for 2 hours: Get the “Predator” vehicle livery

Watch for 3 hours: Get the ‘Highland Hunter’ weapon set

Each reward will be automatically deposited into Twitch drop inventory and must be claimed within 24 hours. After receiving the item, it can be used in both the forbidden zone conflict mode and Battlefield 6. EA also encourages content creators to apply for the official Battlefield Creator Program to support broadcasters and community leaders who grow with the expansion of the game ecosystem.

Battlefield Zone Conflict can operate independently and is also a natural extension of Battlefield 6. This mode retains the iconic large-scale war features of the series while providing a free entry path. Battlefield 6, set in 2027-2028, depicts the conflict between the divided NATO and the private military company “Pax Armata”. The penalty area conflict mode shares this worldview and is interconnected with the progress and season content of the main game.
