On November 9th, according to Bloomberg, e-commerce giant Shein will continue to operate in the country under the supervision of the French government. Previously, Shein shut down a third-party merchant platform in France in response to government orders regarding its alleged sale of child shaped dolls and weapons.

Finance Minister Roland Lescure stated in an interview with Franceinfo on Saturday that the government will continue to “mercilessly” ensure Shein complies with local laws.
