V Society officially launched the personalized player data review function for Steam in 2025 today. In addition to providing personal data, the report also simultaneously disclosed the average gameplay of Steam platform players. The data shows that the median number of games played by Steam users is 4, and the median number of achievements obtained is only 11.
On the other hand, according to SteamDB's statistics, more than 19000 games have been released on the Steam platform by 2025, but nearly half of these new works have less than 10 user reviews.
Specifically, out of the 19112 games released in 2025 included in SteamDB, 9327 games had less than 10 user reviews; Among these games, 2229 have yet to receive any user reviews. This means that over one tenth of the games released this year lack player feedback, making it difficult to provide effective purchasing references for potential consumers.
