Anutin clearly pointed out that to end the current conflict, a ceasefire must be achieved, and acts of threat and aggression must cease, including a ban on the use of drones in border areas. Regarding the border situation, he said it remains tense, and the military standoff is yet to be resolved. As a result, the government will continue to carry out full-scale evacuation of residents in high-risk areas to ensure their safety. The government has provided food and daily necessities support for the evacuated people at resettlement centers and will offer fair compensation to affected families in accordance with regulations.

Concerning the fallen soldiers, Anutin stated that the government will provide pension and various compensations in accordance with the law. He stressed that the sacrifice should not be just cold figures, but the life cost paid by heroes for the country, adding, "It is hoped that the sacrifice of these two brave warriors will be the last price to pay."

On the negotiations with Cambodia, Anutin said no third-party mediation has been invited so far, as he deems this a direct matter between the two countries. He also mentioned that despite the upcoming general election, the caretaker government still holds full administrative power and can continue to perform its duties of governing the country, protecting the people, and safeguarding national defense.

The ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting will be held on December 22. Anutin revealed that he has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to clearly elaborate Thailand's position at the meeting: Thailand is neither a violator of agreements nor an aggressor; all actions are to defend its sovereignty and security. Thailand adheres to the principles of international law and hopes to end the conflict as soon as possible and avoid further expansion of the situation.
