Shuten Order is mostly a visual novel, and you don’t really need help getting through those. But every now and then a puzzle pops up, for better or for worse. In Manji Fushicho’s route (also known as the Minister of Security), your primary concern is not getting chainsawed to death by the wandering Nephilim. But along the way, you run into a few puzzles blocking your path. Most of them are easy, but there’s one that’s a little on the trickier side for what it is.
During this story, you’ll encounter two pipe puzzles, the kind you’ve probably seen a million times if you’ve been playing video games for a while. Rotate the pieces to complete the path, yadda yadda. The twist on Shuten Order’s is that you have a limited number of each piece of pipe, which can make picturing the solution tougher for some players. While the first one is practically a tutorial, I certainly struggled a few times on the second one. So without further ado, here’s a solution to that puzzle if you’re looking for some help:
As you can see in the screenshot, there’s a piece missing, because I wouldn’t have been able to grab a screenshot otherwise. Simply follow what I’ve got there and place the remaining piece and you’ll be good to go. It looks easy when it’s all laid out in front of you like this, but with the limited number of options and the wide open space (and choice obstacles), it was actually kind of a pain!
Thanks for reading, and we hope this helped! Feel free to check out our review of Shuten Order while you’re here if you haven’t read it already!
