The Sturtevant falls in the mountains behind Santa Anita in Los Angeles are a great place for hiking in Los Angeles. Walking through the falls to Sturvant and heading up the creek, it takes about 3 miles to reach the campsite that was established over 100 years ago. There is also a swing between two big trees in the campsite, which is definitely one of the most worthwhile hiking trails in Los Angeles.
