The first time I drank pure rum, I used to drink mixed drinks.
Suddenly, I wanted to try the taste of pure rum, so I bought a bottle to taste and see what the difference was between it and whiskey.
This bottle smells like an alcohol reservoir drilling into the nose, making it feel like rhinitis. Then there's a hint of coconut flavor, a bit like the taste of toffee. It smells quite greasy. The feeling of drinking is very direct, with a hint of coconut flavor, very sweet, much sweeter than bourbon barrels. The taste doesn't seem as thick as whiskey, but the aftertaste is quite fragrant, maybe too sweet.
Maybe it's not the taste I like, it's too sweet, I still prefer whiskey a bit. Experienced masters are welcome to leave comments and share their experience of drinking rum for me to learn from.

Alcohol has a good sense of pressure. I just bought it and need to open the bottle for a while or let it sit for a day or two before drinking
