After dragging out the review for a long time, I originally wanted to shoot a video, but it seemed verbose, so I decided to present it in text form instead
The first gold guest (white edge)
Some people may feel that there is a smell of paint or something else that they cannot accept, but in terms of quality, to be honest, it is decent, with a certain degree of richness, and the roughness is not very rough when compared to the entire entry-level bourbon. Around 50 yuan, 700ml can also be played quite well. Overall, I haven't found any opponents within 100 yuan. Although I think it's better not to drink it, this quality is not suitable for making other cocktails such as Manhattan and Playboy.
The Second Buffalo Footprint (Buffalo Wizard of Oz)
A bourbon that many people like and recommend. It tastes quite refreshing at first, with a combination of rough and spicy flavors and the sweetness of wooden barrels, making it irresistible to smell and taste. But after fully entering the mouth, the aroma is much weaker, and from the middle to the aftertaste, it is empty, with only a hint of alcohol remaining. I personally don't like this kind of ambiguous expression. If you like this style, you can give it a try. From the quality perspective, the price is around 750ml/150, and I always feel that making pure wine is a bit disappointing.
The third four roses
A very stable bourbon with a sturdy structure and ample flavor. I have never experienced an era where it cost less than 100 yuan, and recently it has been around 1000ml/150 yuan, which is just a little bit. The perfect upper level replacement of Xiaobai Advanced+Zhanbian, and upgrading further won't do much. Bartending is the most error free choice.
The fourth Meige
From the perspective of quality alone, it is almost no better than Four Roses. It is spicy, thin, but has a unique sweetness, and after swallowing, the cheeks slightly moisten. It may give people a sense of delicacy, and drinking directly may appeal to some people's preferences, but mixed drinks do not have special expressive power. Around 750ml/200 yuan, if the budget is sufficient, you can try it, but there is no need to buy it specifically.
Others:
Aiwen Mountain: Around 80 yuan per bottle, it smells good, but when you drink it, it's even less than the edge of the bottle. Although it's a bit delicate, pure drinking is completely unnecessary, and mixed drinks are too thin. In fact, it's not comparable to the edge of the bottle (it's still a few dozen yuan more expensive, the only advantage is that it's not edge of the bottle, and many people won't recognize it when using it, so it's not easy to be sprayed). Not recommended.
Love Williams: At first glance, the small white bottle is harmless to humans and animals. It tastes very strong and powerful, but the weak flavor does not match the strong appearance. 180 yuan per bottle, only recommended for purchases with special needs.
Meg 46: Drinking, hollow, with a feeling of half Su Wei and half Bo Ben, very strange, the fusion is not good, and it is not good to mix cocktails according to the usual formula and method.
In summary, the only option that may still be relatively suitable for pure drinking is the Meige 46, and there is no need for anything else. Spicy, it smells quite sweet but has a very hollow taste, which is a common problem with these bourbons. The flavor is subjective, but to be honest, mixed drinks have little impact. I only recommend Zhan Bian and Si Rose. If you're really tight, Zhan Bian will do it. Use a Si Rose normally, and Meige can handle it herself if she has money.
