According to Agence France Presse, Paris police chief Nunez said on Tuesday (September 9) that authorities had found at least nine pig heads before returning to some churches, and the police did not rule out the possibility of discovering more pig heads. According to Reuters, Nunez said that the investigation was immediately launched and "all measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators of these despicable acts".
The local police suspect that this incident involves inciting hatred.
