China has no tipping culture. What do Americans think about it?

I've worked for tips so I always tip well. That said, I hate it. Businesses should pay their workers fairly instead of offloading that cost onto the customer and pretend it's conditional.

tipping culture is slavery, the restaurant refused to hire the person , so the person begs for tips, its humiliation and its wrong .

It's pretty normal to me. I live in the U.S. and also have no tipping culture.

What part of the USA? I usually tip any city I go to

Even though it's their job I will always tip no matter where I'm at it's just in me to be kind and thankful for others serving me a drink or food or giving me a ride .
