The world of Disney Dreamlight Valley keeps getting bigger. It's gotten so big that walking across the land could put some strain on those legs. Fortunately, Gameloft has a solution for players tired of metaphorically hoofing it and that's literally hoofing it with mounts. On Wednesday, Gameloft announced the next expansion for its cozy town-building game called Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch, which will introduce rideable mounts.
Wishblossom Ranch, Disney Dreamlight Valley's first expansion since 2024's The Storybook Vale, will introduce the Wishblossom Mountains as a new biome. Contained within the mountains is Wishblossom Ranch itself, which has long been abandoned and left to rot under the Decay. With new Valley residents Snow White and Tinkerbell, players will help restore the ranch to its former glory while finding the lost horses that once filled it.
Among those residents is Maximus, Flynn Rider's trusty steed from Tangled. Maximus is happy to let players ride him and only asks for some basic care in return. Valley residents can feed Maximus and brush his hair to gain his friendship to help prepare them for a life with permanent, customizable horse mounts. Horse mounts can be cared for daily and are open to learning new abilities, which can be applied to special obstacle courses. Completing these courses can, in turn, help players with some of their daily activities, like gardening and mining.
There's much more to learn about Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch, but Gameloft isn't going into further details today. Instead, the developer has a Showcase Stream planned for Wednesday, October 15, with additional details on the expansion's feature, as well as release date and bundle information.
