The first time I wore Birkenstock was about fifteen years ago, when I traveled to a tropical country with my parents for half a month. It was really easy and convenient to wear. At that time, the price of Birkenstcok was still quite reasonable, but now that it has been acquired by LVMH, the price is incomparable.
Birkenstock is a brand that originated in 1774 and is ubiquitous on the streets of European and American countries all year round. I have also bought many of them over the years. I have size 36 standard feet, thin feet, and a low instep. The narrow version is perfect for me, while the regular version may feel empty, but the regular version looks relatively better. I have never worn shoes with very soft soles since I was young, so Birkenstock's regular hard sole is very comfortable for me. There is no break in period, and the soft sole is relatively soft, but it is not my first choice.
Figure 2 ️⃣， Arizona sandals. The one I wear the most often, the sole is already full of my own footprints. I'm a bit embarrassed to take a picture. On the left side, it's a regular suede soft sole. The more it goes through, the looser it gets. I punched more holes myself, but it's still loose now. The middle is a black gold buckle narrow version, and the soles of the feet are also black leather, making this fashionable and easy to match. The white one on the right is a regular hard sole, which is my daily indoor slipper. In principle, the cork sole cannot be soaked in water, but I didn't care. I have been wearing it in seawater for 6 years and there is no sign of it breaking.
Figure 3 ️⃣， Boston half pack slippers. The white fur style should be bought one size larger because fur takes up space. The gray (iron) one is a regular soft soled oil wax leather. I have adjusted it to the tightest and it is still very empty, but it is easy to match with clothes. The pure sage on the right is a new color, with a large silver buckle and a narrow version, which looks very pleasing to the eye. On the left is JW Anderson, not Boken. He looks very similar to Boston but is more fashionable and very easy to wear. Put it up to make up the list
Figure 4 ️⃣， Tokio half bag shoes with heels. This is the current main promotion, on the left is my favorite pure sage color, narrow version, with a mouse tail grass color sole. It's really beautiful. On the right is the most classic and popular taupe gray brown, regular suede version. This one is better to wear than the mouse tail grass color, but for me, suede is too loose no matter how I wear it, and even thick socks are loose.
Figure 5 ️⃣， Lutry comes with a half bag heel and Gary lace up shoes. The Lutry is wider than the regular model, and the shoes are heavy and made of suede, so I walk without following my feet at all, which is very uncomfortable. The black one is mine, and the gray brown one is used for color comparison and matching. Compared to others, the taupe color looks much better. In the middle is a very unpopular Gary lace up style, which I bought at a discount from tkmaxx. The color is older, but the foot feels very comfortable because of the lace up, so I don't worry about not following my feet. I wear it casually on a regular basis.
Although I can't wear Birkenstock to work, I have over 60 other pairs of shoes waiting for me to wear on weekends and holidays. Birkenstock won't wear out on my day, but I will still keep buying it
