Thank you for bringing the product ready to drink after reading. It's a very surprising Barbados rum.
Barbados is one of the important production areas of rum, with a balanced and sweet style. The extremely low ester concentration makes Barbados rum often dominated by coconut sugar and toffee flavors, making it a small sweet water in the rum world.
The advantage of this flavor is that it is very suitable for beginners, but it is often easy to get stuck in boring reviews without any highlights.

This balance in Barbados comes from the harmonization of pot and column styles, which is also the practice of almost all Barbadian rum.
And this Last Ward is a rare pure single pot distilled Barbados rum. 16 years of tropical aging in bourbon barrels, combined with high levels of esters, has made this rum break away from a single flavor and become quite three-dimensional, but not as thick as Jamaican rum. The scale is just right, making it a wonderful product that both foodies and novices can appreciate.
It's rare to praise a product so generously, but it's really delicious

If you are curious about flavor and happen to be in Shanghai, welcome to taste it. More rum sharing will continue to be released
