This is known as the Chengdu version of the Qingming Riverside Scene. If you come to Chengdu, we strongly recommend leaving a day for this millennium old town.
Located under the snow capped mountains, this millennium old city is in Chengdu without the need to go to Lijiang.

one ️⃣ Huijiang Bridge: a suspension bridge spanning the river, where you can take photos of ancient pagodas and snow capped mountains
two ️⃣ Guangdong Guild Hall: an ancient Lingnan style building located on the main street
three ️⃣ Catholic Church: Built in 1903, very impressive, leaving behind only the mottled traces of time
four ️⃣ Luo Family Courtyard: A classic flight spot not to be missed when coming to Yuantong Ancient Town. The famous courtyard is here.

Tips: There are also Jiezi Ancient Town and Huaiyuan Ancient Town near Yuantong Ancient Town, which can be visited together. Recommended delicacies are Sichuan pepper duck and Ye'erba, which have local characteristics.
